Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. She is half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine of Scottish and English descent. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's former marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. At 16, she left school in order to pursue acting as a career. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was given the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
